It’s been a full week… started with Friday’s flowers for Mom. Saturday Andrea came to visit and we went to the harbor for fish, clam chowder, and ice cream (I had ube with Oreo cookies… omg so good). Sunday, I went out to see the new Spider-Man movie with Vanessa 😊

Yesterday took Liam and Casper to the groomers. I also got a haircut myself and color (organic no chemicals) at the marina. I think Mom would have liked it. After Mom died, I tried to fill up the empty space with more activities. I thought I had to be a new me, a different me. I didn’t know why I felt I had to do so much more.

Sometimes I still feel like I have to be more productive. But I’ve realized that this feeling probably never goes away. Because even though Mom died, my love for her didn’t. It just doesn’t have anywhere to go, so I tried to get more involved, to do something, do more.

And now, I just want to be more of the me I’ve always been, work towards my dreams, and have fun. My main quest and project in life that takes up most of my energy gladly: writing my book, and the next book. Hanging out with friends. My dogs. Gaming. And looking out for my family.
